SecureThings is a Silicon-Valley(California) based startup. SecureThings provides a real-time cyber security solution for connected vehicles. The multi-layered cybersecurity solution protects vehicles beginning from the telematics unit, ECU security to the in-vehicle network security. The solution is adaptive and builds intelligence using machine learning-based algorithms. The big data analytics platform provides analytics for attack trends, forensic analysis, awareness and insights to the OEMs and suppliers to make well-informed business decisions, avoid costly vehicle recalls and help in future architecture changes with its analysis, proactive alerts & trends.

Your day to day work includes:
- Develop and implement CAN, Ethernet and other protocols on the Firmware
- Extract firmware from FLASH/NAND memories of cars
- Develop, reverse engineer and exploit Firmware's present in an automotive vehicle
- In-depth analysis and implementation of latest security mechanisms at the firmware level
- Proove the discovered vulnerabilities with Proof-of-concept exploits
- Create a detailed write-up of your findings
- Explain and demonstrate vulnerabilities to system owners
- Research and implement various mitigations of the identified vulnerabilities
- Review the source code, configurations, communication protocols for security loopholes.
- On time delivery of results.
- Excellent verbal and written skills should be fluent enough to present and showcase your work to clients

Technical skills expected:
- Good command on any one system & scripting language like C, Python.
- Good with C programming especially with memory management for exploitation/exploit development
- Good with Assembly language on one of the following architecture: ARM/MIPS
- Understand the internals or good understanding of Web-applications, Mobile, Cloud and integration of the same with
various components of automotive vehicles would be a plus
- Excellent experience with Buildroot, Yocto, AGL(Automotive grade Linux) for firmware development
- Development and reversing experience with RTOS like FreeRTOS would be plus
- Hands on experience with tools like gdb, radare2, IDA pro
- Firmware emulation with Qemu and other emulation platforms
- Should have experience with bootloaders like u-boot and others which found in automotive vehicles
