Your day to day work includes:
- Reverse Engineer circuits, debug interfaces, components.
- Extract firmware from FLASH/NAND memories of cars
- Perform Side-channel Analysis, Power attacks, Fault injection and similar attacks on the different chips of automotive vehicles
- Desolder and mount chips on breakout board to study and research hardware vulnerabilities in them
- Create a detailed write-up of your findings
- Explain and demonstrate vulnerabilities to system owners
- Research and implement various mitigations of the identified vulnerabilities
- On time delivery of results.
- Excellent verbal and written skills should be fluent enough to present and showcase your work to clients

Technical skills expected:
- Good understanding of core electronics and embedded systems
- Familiar with different architecture's like ARM, MIPS
- Excellent understanding of CAN, UART, SPI, I2C, Ethernet and other communication protocols used in automotive vehicles
- Good hands-on experience with using the logic analyzer, oscilloscopes and other hardware tools
- Good familiarity with hardware hacking tools like Jtagulator, Bus pirate, Chipwhisperer
- Good knowledge of different chips and other components usually found on the PCB of automotive vehicles / IoT systems
- Familiar with various hardware attacks which can be used to bypass various security protocols at the hardware level
- Good understanding of sophisticated hardware attacks like SCA, PA, FI
- Expertise in firmware extraction and reversing would be a plus
