Security Analyst (3-5 years of exp) Full-time

· The Security Analyst position in Symantec’s Managed Security Services is responsible for assessing security threats and risks involving client infrastructure. The Security Analyst works within a 24×7×365 team to further support the timely delivery of monitoring services and support across multiple customers. This includes troubleshooting and resolution of security issues on behalf of clients. The security analyst addresses complex or difficult problems as needed, or in conjunction with other team members. This position may be assigned to a shift schedule.
This position will also involve responsibilities within Symantec’s Cyber security services. Symantec helps customers align their risk mitigation strategies with the shifting threat landscape by providing tailored information and analysis, including mitigation strategies and recommended best practices, for known and emerging vulnerabilities and current threats. The Security Analyst provides Remote Expert Analyst services to Platinum DeepSight customers.

· Around 3-5 years of experience delivering security solutions to an enterprise or with a security services organization
· Strong knowledge in Networking, Owasp attacks and Threat landscape
· Deep dive Threat hunting capability
· Excellent oral and written communication skills.
· Proven skills with atleast one of the SIEM technologies
· Capable to analyze end to end logs of various security and endpoint devices
· Strong analytical and problem solving skills
· Security certifications, especially GCIA, GCIH, OSCP or CISSP are a plus.
· Lead and/or coordinate projects that extend beyond the scope of work.
