EiQ Networks is looking for a manager to join our team, supporting a rapidly growing customer base that relies upon EiQs security products and services.

"Key Responsibilities:"
• Manage a Security Operations Center (SOC) team to ensure customer deliverables are met, providing EiQ customers the highest quality of Security Monitoring, Vulnerability Management, Patch Management, and other services
• Oversee 24/7 SOC operations, ensuring all activities are completed as required
• Lead the SOC to ensure that sources of security threat information, threat intelligence, security trends, and other sources of security domain information are utilized to the fullest in providing services to EiQ customers
• Support the SOC team, advocating for their needs, removing obstacles to achieving the highest excellence in service delivery
• Coach and mentor SOC Analysts and Monitors, helping them realize their maximum potential to contribute
• Lead staff development efforts, ensuring training programs are effective and employee development is embraced
• Work with the Services Leadership team to define and implement appropriate KPIs that allow effective inspection and monitoring of the SOC operations
• Accountable to manage SOC resources to ensure operational objectives are achieved
• Report and communicate to Services Leadership on the effectiveness and performance of the SOC
• Evaluate and resolve complex operational problems relating to SOC services, collaborate with Services Leadership team on continuous improvement projects, and actively participate in the initiatives required to support EiQs growth
• Represent the SOC in cross-departmental relations, especially with Engineering, Dev-Ops, and Product Management
• Actively work with HR to ensure the SOC is recruiting the best talent, that new employees experience the highest quality on-boarding experience possible, and talent is retained within EiQ
"Qualification and Experience:"
Following are some of the mandatory skills and experience required to succeed in this role:
• Experience with managing, developing, and establishing best practices in a Security Operations Center
• Proven ability as a critical thinker, capable of conceptual and strategic thinking, strong decision making skills
• Strong leader with team-oriented interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface effectively with a broad range of people and roles, including: customers, partners, senior management, technology vendors
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented
• Able to prioritize and manage conflicting demands
• Pragmatic understanding of information security as a combination of people, process, and technology issues
• Strong technical understanding of current cyber security threats and trends
• Strong knowledge of administering any SIEM and, knowledge of vulnerability management, patch management, IDS/IPS solutions
• Ability to communicate security principles and techniques at an executive level
• Desirable security and technical Certifications: CISSP, CISM, GISF, GSEC, CEH
• Excellent English, verbal and written, communication skills
• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field
• 4+ years of people management & general management procedures
• 3+ years of experience in management of a SOC
