Business Development Manager - Information Security Full-time

Job Requirements of a BDM

•Business, marketing, or a technology Bachelor's degree or a proven successful track record in IT consulting industry may substitute
•Minimum of 2 years experience, or equivalent skill set, in working for an IT Security Consultancy selling penetration testing, forensic investigations or similar. Candidate must demonstrate a chosen career path in sales and be able to demonstrate over achievement in previous sales roles
•Be able to demonstrate knowledge in Information Security
•Experience with premium, complex business to business technical/professional services sales in strategic and developing accounts, with sales cycles that range from approx. three months to nine months sales cycle
•Proven experience in developing account penetration and development strategies, conducting cold calls, qualifying prospects, leading technical directors in sales process and strategy, making sales presentations, closing techniques, and developing service and pricing proposals
•Proven tenacity and strategic approach to lead development including, cold calling, marketing mail shots, social media etc.
•Ability to call confidently and conduct face to face meetings with senior management such as, CISO, Director, or Program Manager
•Demonstrate success at working in a fast-paced, highly-competitive, and deadline-oriented environment whilst maintaining Context’s quality and reputation for excellence
•Ability to be an active member of a team environment offering support and encouragement to others whilst encouraging a competitive but good natured attitude amongst fellow team members
•Self-motivated individual who exhibits exceptional communication, both verbal and written, presentation, follow-up, negotiation, and closing skills. The position requires a strong emphasis on the ability to listen set, manage, and meet both client and organizational requirements
•Ability to establish and build relationships quickly with global team members as well as within customer accounts
•Demonstrate leadership skills, initiative, and creativity with the ability to identify and convey successful sales/marketing approaches and techniques
•Must have a good knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
•A willingness to travel around India

Daily Duties

•Prospecting through cold calling, prospecting through mail shots, attending industry events in order to network
•Develop account sales plans and approaches with the Sales Director and Senior members of the team
•Meet regularly with Sales Director to ensure all targets
•Meet or exceed quarterly targets
•Complete internal and external training courses
•Personal research for target clients
•Attend prospect, client review meetings
•Represent Context at Context Events
•Represent Context at industry conferences and events
•Responding to email by close of business same day as email
•Internal lead handling
•Promote Context and all services offered
•Gather feedback from clients and prospects
•Prepare and deliver Context presentations
